Current Acute Care Residents

Our Current Residents

2019-2020 Academic Year

Kristina Lam, PT, DPT

Kristina Lam recently graduated from Creighton University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May 2019. After traveling all over the US for her academic and clinical education, this Bay Area native is excited to be back home, close to family and friends, and working at UCSF. As one of the new acute care residents, she is looking forward to teaching in the UCSF/SFSU DPT program and incorporating evidence based practice into her patient care on her rotating services. When she isn’t wearing green scrubs, she loves to travel, take her 11 month old Goldendoodle, Sunny, to the dog beach, and go to local farmer’s markets.

Lauren Stoll, PT, DPT

Lauren is a SoCal native who earned her BA in Dance from UC Irvine. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in June 2019 from the UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy. Lauren is passionate about Acute Care Physical Therapy, and she is thrilled to be a part of the UCSF Acute Care Physical Therapy Residency Program. She hopes to advance her clinical practice, provide service to the SF community, gain invaluable teaching experience, develop her research interests, and help elevate the Acute Care PT platform in the profession at large. When not diligently working in the program, Lauren enjoys spending time with her loved ones and her two dogs, practicing yoga, taking spin class, and finding the best places to eat in SF.
