On Thursday, October 25, 2018, Elizabeth “EB” Forst paid a special visit to first, second, and third year students of the UCSF/SFSU Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. EB is a former physical therapist who sustained a tragic spinal cord injury. She has visited our program over the past few years sharing her experience on her accident, intensive rehabilitation, and her current daily life from the unique perspective of being a physical therapist. She also shared an excerpt from her book she is writing. Currently, EB works extensively with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and is an advocate for research on spinal cord injuries. We are extremely grateful that EB was able to spend time with us and share her story!
