After obtaining her DPT, Dr. Anheier moved to San Francisco and has worked in a variety of settings. Her professional interest in pelvic floor physical therapy grew from working in a private practice dedicated to pelvic health, and continues at UCSF, which Dr. Anheier joined in 2017. She also has experience providing physical therapy to orthopedic patients and pediatric patients. Her other interests include cooking, reading, and backpacking.
Dr. Anheier works with a wide range of pelvic floor disorders including chronic pain, incontinence, prolapse, and constipation. She enjoys working with musculoskeletal issues that arise during pregnancy and postpartum including diastasis recti and c-section scarring. She incorporates evidence-based practice and individualized treatment plans into the care of each patient.
