Angela Shoga Recognized as Healthcare Hero and Emerging Leader

Our Practice Coordinator, Angela Shoga, has been recognized by Campus Life Services as a Healthcare Hero and Emerging Leader. Angela is on the front lines checking in patients, scheduling patients for appointments at one of our three clinics in San Francisco, and attends to the needs of our staff and providers. While working her normal shift in our clinic, Angela participates in the UCSF Administrative Management Professionals (APM) Mentorship Program. The program pairs experienced UC San Francisco managers from academic departments and units, central administration and the UCSF Health system with up and coming staff members seeking to learn more about management, leadership and to better understand the UC San Francisco organizational culture. The program also provides a framework in which staff members cultivate contacts and increase their UC San Francisco network of peers.

Congratulations Angela and keep up the amazing work! We are very fortunate to have you as a member of our team!
