The UCSF Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Science, along with the California Private Practice Group, was thrilled to host APTA President Sharon Dunn, PT, PhD, OCS, and CPTA Vice President Paul D. Smith, PT, DPT this past weekend. In her "State of the Profession" talk, Dr. Dunn discussed the opportunities and challenges facing physical therapists as the Affordable Care Act continues to be implemented, as well as payment trends and education and research needs in the profession.
The UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy is pleased to invite the family and friends of the entering Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2019 to the fifth annual White Coat Ceremony! The event will be held on Friday, September 9, at 6pm in Cole Hall, located in the Medical Sciences Building on the UCSF Parnassus campus.
