Keynote Speaker

Dr. Lauren Stoll is a Southern California native who earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the UCSF/SFSU Graduate Program in Physical Therapy. She completed her post-professional training in the UCSF Acute Care PT Residency Program. Her current clinical appointments are at Stanford Healthcare and UCSF Health as an acute care clinician. Lauren is passionate about Acute Care Physical Therapy, and she is an engaged member of APTA and the Academy of Acute Care Physical Therapy, having disseminated many poster presentations at the state and national level. She is also looking forward to the official recognition of Acute Care PT as a specialty area of practice. She is also a passionate advocate for creating and facilitating high quality, acute care clinical experiences for DPT students. Currently, she is directing the development of the new Acute Care PT Residency Program at Stanford Healthcare.  When not at work, you can find Lauren spending time with her loved ones, with her dog Pumba, travelling, or in her studio making candles.
