PT Faculty Selected for Prestigious Academy of Medical Educators

It is with great enthusiasm and appreciation that we congratulate Alison Scheid, PT, DPT and Andrew Lui, PT, DPT for being inducted into the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators (AME). AME's core value is supporting the people who advance the education mission of UCSF by fostering an organizational culture that values education and accelerates advances in teaching and learning to improve health with an emphasis on community, diversity, advocacy, service, and innovation.

 

The Celebration of New Members is on Wednesday, September 11, 2:30-5:00 p.m. and will include remarks by AME and School of Medicine leadership, an awards presentation, and a keynote address by Dr. Damon Tweedy, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Associate of the Duke Initiative for Science & Society, Duke University School of Medicine, author of Black Man in a White Coat and Facing the Unseen: The Struggle to Center Mental Health in Medicine.
