Keith Vernon, PT, DPT, is from Chicago and spent his childhood there, moving to Phoenix to finish middle and high school. After graduating he joined the US Air force and was stationed in multiple countries and states before retiring after 24 years of service in 2014. After a brief stint in retail management, he returned to school earning a B.S. in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from California State University Sacramento. He went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UCSF/SFSU in 2023. Keith’s interest in neurological rehabilitation started during his time as a PT aide in an outpatient clinic. That interest became a passion throughout his undergraduate, graduate school, and clinical rotations. The opportunity to learn and treat under great neuro PTs during the residency is a dream come true. Keith enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, dining out, and enjoying the company of friends.
